Musar Jeune Red Bekaa Valley 2021
Chateau Musar Jeune which is crafted by Musar`s head winemaker, Tarek Sakr, is possibly a more accessible style than the `Grand Cru` Chateau Musar. Blended to be enjoyable from bottling to 10 years after. This Jeune (young)release was left un-oaked to allow the natural fruit characters in Cinsault, Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes to the fore. Musar Jeune Rouge is a deep scarlet colour with a beguiling, smokey, black fruit nose, showing rich blackberry and mulberry notes tinged with spice. A good concentration of pure, black and red cherry fruit on the palate is supported by a juicy, fresh acidity. With its soft tannins, it is balanced and long and best enjoyed in its youth. Fabulous with Roast lamb! Cabernet Sauvignon, Cinsault and Carignan.
