This wine is grown on 14 hectares of vines that are situated at the named vineyard "Le Saut au Loup" at Ligre on the left bank of the Vienne, the river that flows through Chinon in the Loire Valley. Domaine Dozon, Clos du Saut au Loup, 2020, Eric Santier, Loire Valley - Chinon AOC is made from Cabernet Franc grapes and has an expressive nose with aromas of strawberries and raspberries. On the palate this wine is supple and luscious and offers a rounded body with some tannins. This wine should be paired with grilled lamb chops, roasted duck or chicken and sweet cheeses.
