Barbeito Rainwater
Rainwater is a style of Madeira that is rarely produced now. The origins of the name are unknown but the style is typically lighter than other Madeiras. Recreating the classic style of Rainwater, medium dry in character. Dried fruit, orange blossom and crystallized fruit aromas with a soft yet full bodied palate and a long minerally finish. An excellent aperitif, but also wonderful with French Onion Soup, Welsh Rarebit, cheeseboard, mushroom dishes, and game terrine.
