Domaine Ardhuy Ladoix 2022
The Domaine d`Ardhuy is a family estate passed on from father to daughters and is situated on the border between the Côte de Beaune and the Côte de Nuits.
Ladoix white is one of the least-known wines of the Côte de Beaune, but it compares favourably to famous appellations.
This appellation borders the famous Grand Cru vineyard, Corton Charlemagne, which produces some of the most powerful wines of the Côte de Beaune.
A lighter style of white Burgundy. This wine has a lovely pale colour, elegant floral notes and mineral touches. Soft, with a little hint of oak in the background. A really classy Burgundy for the money.
The wine is vinified from three separate vineyards, or `climats`, as they are referred to in Burgundy: Les Chaillots, Les Chagnots, Les Combottes.
