Domaine de La Ferrandiere Cabernet Sauvignon is a real favourite. We have been importing superb wine from this excellent estate for many years. Domaine de La Ferrandiere is in the South East of France. The wines are grown in a dried out salt lagoon. The red wines are a bit fuller richer and generally a little more tannic than the whites, but this vintage is tremendous. It has big full ripe blackcurrant flavours and is simply superb. In this wine you will find blackcurrant fruit and a rich, full and slightly dry taste that has a very typical French style. It is superb with meat dishes and whilst it is absolutely great right now it will only improve even more with ageing.
