This Domain des Lauriers Viognier is wonderful. Dry and perfumed on the nose with deep, rich and aromatic stone fruit notes on the nose and on the palate. This wine is lovely and long at the finish with a slightly dry aftertaste. A stylish wine which is light and fresh enough to drink on its own but also robust enough to have with food. Viognier is the only permitted grape for the famous French wine Condrieu in the Rhone Valley. This wine is slightly richer and oilier than sauvignon, but has a lovely balance of acidity and depth that make it refreshing and incredibly moreish!
