The Château Puyanché Blanc is a blend of 75% Sauvignon Blanc and 25% Sémillon grown in the limestone and clay soils of the Côtes de Francs. The grapes undergo a cold soak and fermentation starts in stainless steel tanks and finishes in barrel. The wine is aged for seven months in 30% new French oak barrels, during which time regular lees stirring occurs. The wine is vibrant and aromatic with flavours of grapefruit, apricot and fresh spring herbs complimented by a soft texture and lively acidity. Enjoy with spring vegetables, grilled chicken and asparagus or fried fish.
