Esk Valley Hawkes Bay Pinot Gris 2021
Esk Valley Hawke`s Bay Pinot Gris 2019 is superb. This Pinot Gris (or Pinot Grigio as it`s known in Italy) is quite different to your normal Pinot Grigio. Rich and full at first, but then also present are generous flavours and a crisp minerally acidity that stays throughout. Hints of soft ripe almonds towards the end. A great wine and something rather different and well worth a try.
