Not grown anywhere else in the world Maturana Tinta is a very rare old ancient variety in Rioja. Fermented for three months in French oak barrels and aged for another 10 before bottling. An intense colour with aromas of black fruit, blackcurrant, black pepper and chocolate. On the palate it is vibrant with intense dark fruit flavours and a savoury balsamic acidity. Potently aromatic with succulent blackcurrant and hits of cumin and clove. Creamy texture and silky finish.
