The estate of Quinta de Remostias dates from the 18th century and is located in Peso da Régua, the centre of Douro Valley. Mainly Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca and Tinta Roriz. This red shows the terroir of Douro at its best. A 50 year old field blend with 30% spending nine to twelve months in new and used French oak barriques.
The wine reveals characteristics of the Viosinho, Rabigato and Gouveio grape varieties. On the palate, this wine is extremely fresh with an impressive minerality, creating an extremely fresh, vibrant, and balanced wine.
