The estate of Quinta de Remostias dates from the 18th century and is located in Peso da Régua, the centre of Douro Valley. Mainly Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca and Tinta Roriz. This red shows the terroir of Douro at its best. A 50 year old field blend with 30% spending nine to twelve months in new and used French oak barriques.
A wine that is very elegant and extremely aromatic. Matured dark fruits and vanilla is combined in perfection with oak make to create a mouth watering wine. The tannins are present, and bring great structure to the wine.
