Tenuta I Fauri is located in the heart of the province of Chieti, the southernmost province of Abruzzo, among the hills that descend from the Maiella to the Adriatic. Pecorino is not only the name of a sheep`s cheese in Italy, it is also the name of a native white grape that thrives in the Chieti area of Abruzzo. The vines are very near the sea and benefit from the cooling breeze of the ocean. The wine is quite unusual and equally lovely with a bouquet of fresh ripe banana. Bursting with flavours of white peach, apple and mint, this medium bodied wine has an elegant, long and lingering finish. A great aperitif or with white fish and chicken.
